If the Native American’s god was so strong, then why did he allow them to be occupied by heathens? (Oddly, this is the same theory that people have about my God, yet people don’t have any problems believing in the all-powerfulness of witch doctors, shamans and medicine men…)
I wonder why it’s easier to be angry at someone for voicing their opinion than it is to accept that they may be right.
Why would parents sign their child up for two sports during the same seasons with games that will (likely) fall at the same time? How does this child get homework finished with back to back practices? Why participate in two sports when he or she can only attend one game due to scheduling conflict (not to mention letting the team down when he or she can’t play)?
I am tired of dealing with people who fail to see the difference between illegal immigration and colonizing new countries.
I’m pretty sick and tired of people not only misunderstanding the constitutional amendment regarding “Separation of Church and State”, but purposefully diluting it to meet their own twisted hatred of religion in general.
I wonder how many children (and adults) that are classified as “behaviorally challenged” are actually behaviorally deficient; as in they received little or no behavior training (manners, discipline, etc.) from their parents.
People who are willing to believe in random spirits, vapors, spells and the like but refuse to believe in an all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving God are doomed to spend eternity wondering what the heck happened.
Sometimes you get a perspective about your attitude through not so straightforward means and it is a complete revelation. It can be so completely freeing that you want to fly.
Actions show more repentance (remorse, sorrow, and apology) than words. Don’t believe me? How many times has someone said “I’m sorry” and not changed their ways? But if their actions change, you know they are truly sorry.
